Pick the 3 Leg Spider if your Large Big Green Egg s fire ring has the notches for the convEGGtor platesetter. New Large Big Green Eggs ship with this fire ring. In the down position, the 3 Leg Spider adds a platform 2 inside the fire ring. The Spider works in tandem with:  –  13 cast iron grid (BGE model 13CI) to sear close to the lump;-  13 Round Ceramic Stone and 14 Stainless Drip Pan to create in indirect set-up for Rig cooks above;-  14 or 16 wok for Asian flair, 16 Preferred;-  15 Half Stone to create a half direct & indirect set-up with a grid on the fire ring. In the up position, the 3 Leg Spider adds a platform 2.5 above the fire ring. The Spider works in tandem with: –  18 cast iron grid (BGE model 18CI); elevates the grid to make it easier to flip burgers and such;-  14 or 16 wok for Asian flare, 16 preferred.
